We are looking for motivated individuals to join us for our upcoming tree planting season! Work takes place in a camp setting in either Northern Ontario or Northern Alberta and runs from May to July. Some new tree planters have been able to make as much as 10,000 $ in this window of time, but final earnings vary. Pay is dependent on the number of trees planted, with 13-14 cents/tree being our average. 3000 trees (seedlings) per day is a very achievable production goal for new tree planters, once they have learned the job. 

What do I need to know? 

-The job is piecework, meaning you get paid by the number of seedlings you plant. 

What does the job entail?

-Living in a camp for May-July

-Working outdoors in all weather conditions

-Working alone, while carrying up to 30lbs.

- Individuals with a passion for being outdoors

- People motivated to make money; the harder you work the more money you make!

What do I need to bring?

Camping gear (Tent, cot, sleeping bag)

Steeltoe Boots

Warm weather and cold weather clothing

How much can I expect to make?

Once they have learned the art of treeplanting efficiently, most new treeplanters are able to make 200-300$ / day.

How will this be impacted by Covid?

 Last season we were able to operate even though Ontario was in lockdown. We had extra sanitary staff at camps and followed covid protocol to ensure everyone was kept safe.

Can I bring a friend?

 Yes, please indicate in your application that you and your friend would like to work together at the same camp.

Where are your camps located?

 In Ontario, our camps stretch from the Thunder Bay area, east to the Ottawa Valley, and south to Algonquin Park.

What will I eat?

We have professional cooks and your meals will be prepared for you.
